4PL Account Operations Associate

Orkestra SCS is seeking a 4PL Account Operations Associate who will be primarily responsible for managing global logistics requirements on behalf of our customers. Overall responsibilities includes 3PL partner management and customer engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational execution based on defined operating procedures.


Key responsibilities:

  • Work with third-party service providers/partners to ensure operational execution
  • Manage customer expectations and communicate daily with customer
  • Ensure SOP requirements are met daily
  • Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills; build strong relationships with client team members, work successfully under pressure, maintain positive attitude, and meet client project deadlines in an efficient and professional manner
  • Perform monthly governance reviews with Customer Owner
  • Perform monthly service reviews with 3PL providers and customer
  • Create continuous improvement processes quarterly

Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate must be experienced in global supply chain management, well organized, self-motivated, and possess a proven ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • 3+ years of freight forwarding experience
  • Team first attitude, positive and selfless
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interpersonal savvy when interacting with internal employees, external customers, and virtual team members
  • Strong organizational abilities and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong decision making and negotiation skills
  • Experience in change management
  • Proficiency in MS Office & a practical understanding of all relevant aspects of an effective business systems integration
