Senior Software Engineer

Orkestra SCS is seeking an experienced developer to join our team as we continue to build out our platform as we scale. The ideal candidate would be capable of taking on a leadership role within Orkestra SCS from both technical and people perspectives. As well as providing direction and guidance with respect to the development of our platform, the successful candidate would also be responsible for helping with the training and mentoring of the junior members of our team. 

Must have: 

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a developer/software engineer
• Strong knowledge of Java language
• Experience in working with Spring Boot, JPA
• Strong knowledge of SQL language • Solid knowledge of JavaScript/Typescipt
• Very solid knowledge and working experience with Azure platform
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Good knowledge of database design
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Good knowledge and experience with various data ingestion methods
• Good knowledge and experience with data security 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in working with PostgreSQL 
• Solid knowledge of NodeJS and Python 
• Experience in working with serverless architectures 
• Experience in working with SPA applications (React) 
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines 
• Experience in the supply chain & logistics industry
